LIGHT UP THE DARKNESS

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.

Our Story

Established in 2015, Bridge of Light is an Atlanta-based, non-profit organization empowering people who are unhoused or living in poverty. By providing hygiene and laundry services, we seek to encourage self-sufficiency and inspire self-advocacy.  Whether you are at-risk of, currently experiencing, or transitioning from a houseless or low-income situation, our goal is to provide tools, resources, and safe spaces that act as a light in dark times and help to restore dignity and hope that encountering homelessness (and the surrounding stigmas) can diminish.

We believe that having your basic needs met is key to living a life of dignity and the ability to thrive. While we might take for granted a simple shower and haircut, these services can be the turning point in someone else’s life who is looking for self-sufficiency and a way to shift their trajectory. We believe that when people live dignified lives, they can contribute better as members of their communities.

We Believe

Everyone Deserves Dignity.

We’re on a mission to restore dignity and hope to people experiencing, transitioning from, or at risk of houselessness.
